
Dr. Chuck Massengill, DVM

Dr. Massengill is owner and operator of a beef cow/calf operation, and meat goat production herd with his wife, Rose in California, Missouri.
His involvement in the industry also includes Region III, Policy Division Vice President for the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. He also serves on many committees of the United States Animal Health Association, and works as a private veterinary consultant on topics of animal health program development and assessment.
Dr. Chuck Massengill, DVM graduated from Kansas State University in 1979. Immediately after graduation he started a rural mixed species practice in Osceola, Missouri. Dr. Massengill left private practice in the summer of 1988 to take advantage of the opportunity to serve as the Animal Health Epidemiologist and Animal Health Laboratory Director for the State Veterinarian of Missouri. He worked in that capacity with temporary additional duties as Assistant State Veterinarian, and Acting State Veterinarian until his retirement in 2009.
